This modern design of how our experience through spaces can be altered from an enclosed to an expansive environment is inspired by the curvatures of a jellyfish.
The tentacles of the jellyfish acts as the façade of the rotunda, where light can be crossed through, but only via compressed beams. This allows a pattern of spotlights as you walk down the enclosed corridor.

While you walk down this pathway, the experience is mysterious yet relaxing. With the curved path, you wont be able to see what is directly in front of you, acting as a pathway of unknown. Though when you reach the epicenter of the rotunda, you are met with an open expansive space.

The transition from an enclosed pathway to such an expansive outdoor epicenter is an experience where we are able to feel conscious about our surroundings.
The meaning behind this rotunda is the experience that shares how at first we might feel unsure about a path, though when we take time to travel through the flow, the ending is rewarding.
