Kyle Chen is a Grade 12 student from Vancouver with a strong passion for architecture and design. His work explores how the built environment can inspire connection, learning, and community. From creating architectural displays to leading Young Architects for Change (YAC), Kyle has begun building a portfolio that blends creativity with problem-solving. With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, he is preparing to pursue architecture at the university level and beyond, aiming to design spaces that are both functional and transformative.
Kyle’s architectural work has been publicly featured at various public exhibitions. At the Museum of Vancouver, he presented a model as part of a public unveiling event. His design work has also been displayed at YVR, reaching a broad audience of travelers and showcasing his ability to connect architectural ideas with the public in meaningful ways. These exhibitions reflect his growing presence in the architectural community and his commitment to sharing design to inspire others.
